I love using my carpet freshener. When using the powder a shaker comes in very handy. You can purchase different types of shakers but why waste money when you can do a DIY glass shaker yourself. It is so easy and cheap to make. Today I will show you how to reuse a glass jar with a lid.
What you need:
- Glass jar with lid
- Nail
- Hammer
- Spray paint (optional)
- Label (optional)
*Optional* With spray paint, spray the top of the lid in a well ventilated area. Spray until covered, leave it to dry.
With the lid of the jar, use the nail and hammer to poke multiple holes in the lid.
You can put a label on the jar by using your computer to spruce it up.
Fill the glass jar with your carpet powder and shake on your rugs and carpets.
Voila, it’s done!
